A group of 21 Korean music industry experts recently came together and participated in a survey that picked the best of the best idols in a variety of categories.
With idol groups taking over the music market, it’s an unending battle on the internet, between netizens in deciding which idol has the best vocal talents with the use of MR (Music Recorded) removed videos to potentially help arguments.

It’s August 29th, and if you didn’t know, top K-Pop stars will be rocking Incheon tonight for the 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave.
The concert, which is being held at the Incheon World Cup Stadium, will see a list of top acts like BoA, Se7en, Taeyang, KARA, Supernova, Super Junior, 2PM, SNSD, SG Wannabe, SHINee, U-Kiss, CNBLUE, MBLAQ, BEAST, Son Dambi, and After School. The concert will be hosted once again by the team of Oh Sang Jin, plus Yuri and Tiffany from SNSD.
The organizers expressed, “We hope to make this a long-term annual event, with top stars coming to Incheon and encouraging local and foreign fans to join us for the party. We want to make it be known as a representative K-pop music festival in Asia.”

I'm finally a SENIOR
Hi guys, I just want to ask how was ur first week of school? Mine was very exhausting and fun because I'm finally a senior. I've been waiting for this day to come, and it finally did. This year is gonna be awesome. I'm going to make sure that it will be the best senior year ever.
Anyways, I want to share what I think about this weeks we got married episode (for Khuntoria couple of course). I really think Adam Couple coming along was a big help for Khuntoria Couple. They hold hands... it was so adorable. When Adam Couple was trying to show that they had more experience about marriage was a fail ( it was hilarious how jo kwon hit ga in when he closed the car's door). This weeks episode is probably one of my favorite.

Nichkhun and Victoria holds hands thanks to Adam couple
On the recent episode of MBC We got married, Nickhun-Victoria couple rang Jo Kwon – Ga In couple to meet up at Han river and iniated a double date. When they met each other, Jo Kwon and Ga In were holdings hands and Jo Kwon suggested to Nickhun, “You guys should hold hands too”
Ga In pulled Nickhun’s hand and made him hold Victoria’s hand while Jo Kwon was patting Victoria’s hand and telling her “This is how you hold hands”.
The situation had changed when getting into the car, Nickhun opened the door for Victoria whereas Jo Kwon didn’t for Ga In. After seeing this, he quickly ran and opened the door for Ga In as well. But Ga In rejected him saying “Since when have you ever opened the door for me?”

The truth behind ‘We Got Married’ casting decisions
News about the behind the scenes casting process that MBC’s We Got Married uses has recently been revealed to the public.
On the latest broadcast, 2PM’s Nichkhun told f(x)’s Victoria that he had told the production staff he wanted to be on We Got Married with her. Since then, viewers have been wondering whether personal preferences played a significant impact on the casting of couples on the show.
A representative stated,
“In Victoria’s case, Nichkhun’s wish played a big part. Also, in 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-in’s case, they both said each other’s name in the casting interview… Jo Kwon and Ga-in were each asked to list three people they wanted as their partners, and both named each other on this list.“

Winners at the 2010 Mnet 20’s Choice Awards Ceremony
The 4th edition of the 2010 Mnet 20’s Choice took place this evening at the Sheraton Grand Walker-Hill River Park’s swimming pool, and it was an ideal setting for the stuffy summer season.
There was a noticeable lack of star power at the event, as SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment both passed on the chance to send their artists tonight.
With the feud between Mnet and SME still ongoing, there was absolutely no chance of seeing their active artists like BoA, SHINee, SNSD, Super Junior, and f(x) attending this event.
YGE also announced that Big Bang was busy with Japan activities, and Se7en had another schedule, so therefore no artists from their side would be attending as well.
Regardless, let’s enjoy the awards show and performances!

Victoria finally realizes that her bloodtype is A after 24 years
It was revealed that f(x)’s charismatic member Victoria had the wrong information about her blood type up until now.
On May, talented girl group f(x) released their new song NU ABO where they explained that the meaning behind the title Nu ABO refers to a new blood type apart from A, B, O or AB. Not long after NU ABO was released, f(x) appeared as guests for a radio program where they explained this song title’s meaning and talked about their own blood types.
When asked about her blood type Victoria replied, “Up until now I thought my blood type was O. However, recently we were promotional representatives for blood donation services and got our blood tested where I found out I was actually an A.” Regarding Victoria who for 24 years had the wrong information about her own blood type netizens responded, “She seems a bit out of it but she’s still cute,” and “Please reveal clearly from now on that your blood type is A.”
Meanwhile, last June f(x) members attended the 7th anniversary World Blood Donation Day event at Seoul’s Sejong Cultural Center.

SM Town Live 10 Highlights
Shortly after SM Town Live 10 ended, KBS News was quick to put together a highlight package and run a segment on their show. SM Entertainment artists Super Junior, BoA, SHINee, SNSD / Girls’ Generation, MAX, f(x), TRAX, Kangta, U-Know (Yunho) and others all put on an extravagant show.
Over 35,000 fans filled the seats at Seoul’s Jamsil Olympic Stadium and the concert lasted for over 6 hours. The concert didn’t go off without a hitch however as some of the large screen displays were malfunctioning due to the hot summer heat.

How Are ‘We Got Married’ Couples Selected?
The Adam couple (2AM’s JoKwon – Brown Eyed Girls‘ GaIn), Sweet Potato couple (SNSD’s SeoHyun – CN Blue’s Jung YongHwa), International couple (2PM’s Nichkhun - f(x)’s Victoria) and Real Life couple (Hwang JungEum – Kim YongJun) are the current stars for this season of We Got Married. Every incident that happens between all of the couples immediately garner much attention and quickly becomes hot news for fans.
In other words, We Got Married is a trendy and popular show that can boost a person’s fame. For instance, JoKwon and GaIn, who currently receive the most love in We Got Married, gained massive popularity because of their status as imaginary couple alongside their singing talents.
Therefore, when a rookie is asked, “Is there a variety show you want to appear on?” 90 out of 100 don’t think twice and pick ‘We Got Married’.
Well, do you ever wonder how WGM couples are chosen?
Like other job interviews, WGM candidates have to go through interviews for evaluation too. Jung Yoon Jung, the PD behind JoKwon-GaIn and Nichkhun-Victoria couple said:
“If we receive an interview request, we meet with them. We also recruit people that seem okay on well-known variety programs or other works. We then ask the people we meet with basic questions. Through this process, we try to get to know the person through assumptions. If I feel that this person is okay, then I think about it. The actual matching process is done through other series of interviews. In between these interviews, I really get thoughts like, “I think it would be good for this person to meet this person.”
However, the interviews are not the end. I meet with them again with a mindset of having the launching in mind. I meet with the people that I thought were okay once more. Because they have to put their entire body into working in the entertainment business, there are people that change in a short period of time. There is a need to look over this person’s changes over a fairly long amount of time. There are cases where the person won’t be honest, not showing their true selves, while there are others who are a lot nicer than expected.”
In a previous episode, Nichkhun told Victoria that he hinted the production crews about his preference on her. Does a selected celebrity really get to choose his/ her partner for WGM? In Nichkhun’s case, Jung PD said that Nichkhun himself was not sure of any candidate in his first interview. Later, he expressed his true feelings to his manager.
Nevertheless, Nichkhun did not have any idea about who his imaginary wife was until the recording of first episode. Despite all the rumor articles that floated around, Nichkhun actually guessed someone else would be his partner instead of Victoria.
When asked about the possibility to create extremely shocking couples such as a huge age gap couple or a bad guy-bad girl couple, Jung PD explained:
“Finding a new figure is always a worry. There can be new combinations. But honestly, if you set a concept like having a big age difference, it is hard getting outside the box. Creating a fixed character won’t work either because it wouldn’t last. In the end, it becomes a story told by the two people, attempting new challenges, working together.”

2PM will hold follow-up encore concert performances
Having just released a special song for Hottests worldwide entitled ‘Thank You‘, the boys of 2PM are already returning with a couple encore concerts to follow-up their first successful solo concert Don’t Stop Can’t Stop.
Through a press conference held earlier today, JYP himself stated that they would be holding a second showing of Don’t Stop Can’t Stop on September 4th and 5th.
An official JYPE representative stated, “We want to thank fans for showing so much interest in their first set of solo concerts. The encore performances will also be more upgraded from the first show.”
